The story begins with two origin points: a royal charter that turned a mining company into a sovereign government, and a fruit company that partnered with the CIA to overthrow a democracy. From there, two threads evolve across seven decades — one tracing how corporate sovereignty became military capitalism (from colonial Africa through apartheid South Africa’s nuclear procurement network to Wagner Group), the other tracing how intelligence collaboration became permanent shadow infrastructure (from Cold War stay-behind armies through Vatican Bank to a Russian troll farm and a GRU assassination unit still operating today).
The threads converge at four nodes: a bank that served every side of every conflict, a commodities trader who personally bridged both worlds, a Panamanian law firm that hid them all, and a catering magnate who fused mercenary warfare with computational propaganda into one business.
Every lecture follows the money, maps the personnel pipeline, identifies the deniability layer, and finds the moment the machinery became exposed.
